MS12-035 a momentary blip in detection

On May 22 2012. updates; KB2518864, KB2633880 and KB2572073. when I finished installing them on our first server, a few seconds later it kept on reappearing and telling me to install those updates.

So I Google it and find people complaining that they’re being offered repeatedly, or they won’t install. They seem to be causing problems on XP and Server 2003 boxes.

This is the best link I found with the constant pleaes for help though the period that many people everywhere were trying to resolve the same problem.

Clearly Microsoft has little to no ability to simply admit there is a problem and just say we are working on it or something. Hours later Susan Bradley advises that the problematic patches are known about and Microsoft is working on it.

Oh my why didn’t we all just ask Susan Bradley first for goodness sakes she must be the hotline to any MS-DEFCON issue. Perhaps askWoody.com since both were better resources than MS.

It is clear the best plan with this issue yesterday would have been just close your eyes and say we are working on it. Since we have over 100 plus servers it is a bit hard to do with a straight face.

It appears that MS12-035 will be rereleased and this is what is causing our momentary blip in detection. Thank goodness for this blip in our lives we needed that.
